More than 15 years ago, my journey in hospitality began in the most ordinary way—not as a hotel owner or investor, but as a university student taking my first job as an IT staff member in a hotel.

Driven by curiosity and a passion for learning, I gradually took on different responsibilities across the industry, from Sales, Bell Services and Restaurant Operations to Hotel Management and business development. Every position gave me a broader perspective on hospitality and a deeper appreciation for the people who work tirelessly behind every guest experience.

Before founding HOTEL du LAC VIETNAM, I spent many years contributing to the development and operation of different hotel brands. Working alongside talented teams and participating in various projects allowed me to understand every stage of the hospitality business—from daily operations and guest service to commercial strategy, hotel development and long-term brand building. Those years of experience shaped not only my professional journey but also the philosophy that continues to guide our company today.

Throughout those years, one belief became increasingly clear to me: guests may forget the size of a room or the design of a building, but they never forget how they were treated and how a place made them feel. Exceptional hospitality is not created by architecture alone. It is created by people, strengthened by culture, and remembered through meaningful experiences.

That belief became the foundation of HOTEL du LAC VIETNAM.

In 2021–2022, while Vietnam's tourism industry was experiencing one of the most challenging periods in its history, we chose to establish HOTEL du LAC VIETNAM. Many viewed it as an uncertain time to begin, but we believed every challenge also creates an opportunity for those willing to prepare for the future. From the very beginning, we chose a path built on long-term values rather than short-term opportunities. Our ambition has never been simply to develop more hotels. Our ambition is to build a hospitality brand that people genuinely trust, admire and remember.

Today, HOTEL du LAC VIETNAM is a growing boutique hospitality group with distinctive hotels across Vietnam. Rather than creating identical properties, we believe every hotel should reflect the character, culture and identity of its destination. Every project is thoughtfully designed to become part of the local story while delivering the consistent standards of service and attention to detail that define the HOTEL du LAC experience.

As we continue to grow, our greatest investment remains unchanged—our people. We believe exceptional hospitality begins with passionate individuals who genuinely care for others. Supported by a strong organizational culture built on integrity, professionalism, continuous learning and kindness, our people are the driving force behind every memorable guest experience. Technology may improve efficiency, but genuine hospitality will always begin with human connection.
Looking ahead, we aspire to contribute to the sustainable development of Vietnam's hospitality industry by creating innovative hospitality products, enriching local tourism experiences and developing destinations that guests are inspired to return to. Every project we undertake is guided by one simple question: How can we create a better experience than yesterday? That commitment encourages us to keep improving, keep innovating and keep raising our own standards.
